My name's Dan Thompson, and I've known John since 2005, he was responsible/guilty for getting me into the Internet Marketing business. Since then I've gone on to create a number of my own products, as well as running my own web hosting company with my business partner, who, by the way, also got the Internet Marketing bug thanks to John.

But enough about that, lets get to the real reason why you are here. You need more information about John Thornhills Marketing Masterclass!

The idea behind this website is to provide you with as much information as possible about the coaching program, there's a lot of information on the sales page, but there's always extra questions that remain unanswered, so I'm going to do my best to fill in the gaps for you. So that's how I'm going to be structuring the site, I think this way it should be very easy for you to navigate through, and help you find the information you are looking for.

John Thornhill's Marketing Masterclass: Background Information

At the time of writing, the year is 2009 and John Thornhill is about to re-launch his masterclass program. The course opens once per year, and John will take in a limited number of students.

This however wasn't always the case.

He first launched the program back in 2007, but it wasn't know as the Marketing Masterclass program, it was known simply as "John Thornhill Coaching" - I have no idea how he came up with the name ;-)

The original coaching program was limited to 50 students, and came with a relatively low price point when compared to other similar programs.

He limited places, and set the low price point because he was using the Coaching to "test the water". As he hadn't done anything like this in the past, he wasn't sure how well it would be received, but he went ahead with the program, and all of the places sold out within the first 24 hours of going on sale - without the help of any affiliates, all sales came from John's own mailing list.

Fast forward to the end of the program, and the vast majority of students were delighted with the results, a lot of which you can see in the coaching case studies section of this website.

So he knew he was onto a winner, so in the winter of 2008 he took his coaching one step further, and launched the program you are currently looking at - John Thornhills Marketing Masterclass.

The masterclass program was a progression of the old Coaching program, whilst the coaching was a huge success, he knew there was a lot more he could do that wasn't included in the original coaching - more coaching material, live webinars, one on one support, on so on - Marketing Masterclass was born!

The initial launch of the program in 2008 was again, a big success, making over $250,000 in sales in just days, but more importantly, the students that stayed with the coaching program loved it. All would agree they were in a better position to make money online at the end of the course, than they were at the start, and many were already seeing results, again, check out the case studies section of this website for more information.

John Thornhill: Who On Earth Is This Guy?

It's a valid question!

If you are going to spend $1,500 on a coach/mentor, you need to know as much about them as you possibly can. There are a lot of people out there offering coaching that quite frankly, are nothing more than con-men, I know it's a strong thing to say, but I've seen it happen many times, so it's vital that if you do need a coach or a mentor, you know the person inside out before committing to anything.

Thankfully I can vouch for John Thornhill 100%. As I've said in the past, he first got me started in the Internet Marketing business back in 2005 and we've been good friends ever since - we even share the same accountant! I also have access to the Masterclass program, and have worked closely with him on a lot of his projects, so I'm more than qualified to give you this information - I'm not copy/pasting from a sales page. ;-)

Before he got into Internet Marketing, John worked in a Nissan car factory in his hometown of Sunderland, UK, the job was mundane and repetitive. After work he would come home and get straight on the computer, looking for ways to make money from his online ventures.

Various different projects were undertaken, but he didn't really "make it big" until he discovered eBay.

He was the pioneer of selling eBooks on eBay, under his eBay userID PlanetSMS. PlanetSMS would go on to sell tens of thousands of eBooks on eBay, making a small fortune in the process.

It then occured to him, that he could make more money by selling his system, so he created the PlanetSMS eBook seller program. The program showed people just how easy it was to sell eBooks on eBay, John also provided a ready to go website that members could use to distribute the eBooks to a wider market.

This (the eBook seller program) incidentally, is how I first met John - I bought his eBook seller program back in early 2005 for £25 - around $45, it was the best £25 I ever spent!

He has continued to grow and expand his business, gradually moving away from eBay and into the mainstream Internet Marketing niche, where he has quickly become one of the most well known and respected marketers out there. His affiliate promotions, eBay sales, and how to guides make him a massive income each and every year - enough for him to quit his factory job, and move into a brand new house!

So as you can see, Mr Thornhill most defiantly "walks the walk", as well as being able to "talk the talk", so you know you'll be in good hands if you decide to have him as your online mentor, but don't just take my word for it.
